music classes for young children aged five to seven years...

The goal of Kindermusik for the Young Child classes is to prepare students for later instrumental or vocal tuition - students have the opportunity to learn three different instrument (dulcimer, glockenspiel and recorder) to give them a head start in learning an instrument later (strings, keyboard/piano, woodwind/brass).

Kindermusik for the Young Child classes can include singing and vocal development, movement, exploration of musical instruments, reading and writing music notation, listening, ensemble development and multicultural activities.

The parent/caregiver attends the last ten minutes of the Kindermusik for the Young Child class. Classes run for sixty minutes across an eighteen week semester.

Current classes:

• Mondays at 3:30pm - yes, we have vacancies;
• The next semester commences on Monday 21st April, but we welcome parents and children joining through the term.

The next unit we will be enjoying is "Young Child 1".
